Compliance
At uxpertise, compliance, security, and accessibility are at the core of how we design our platforms. We are committed to providing reliable, secure, and inclusive learning environments, aligned with recognized standards such as SOC 2 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). This page outlines the principles and practices that guide our approach to ensuring a safe and accessible experience for all users.
Accessibility by Design
At uxpertise, accessibility is integrated from the design phase of our uxpertise LMS and uxpertise XP platforms. We comply with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to ensure equitable use for everyone, regardless of ability.
Our Accessibility Approach
We follow WCAG principles to ensure our platforms are:
- Perceivable
Content is presented in ways users can recognize, including text alternatives and adaptable layouts. - Operable
Interfaces are fully navigable via keyboard and compatible with assistive technologies. - Understandable
Clear structure, consistent navigation, and predictable interactions improve usability for all users. - Robust
Our platforms are compatible with a wide range of browsers and assistive tools.
We continuously validate our platforms against WCAG and SGQRI guidelines, using internal audits and iterative improvements to enhance accessibility over time.
Accessible Proctoring with Integrity Advocate
Our proctoring partner, Integrity Advocate, is WCAG 2.1 compliant and designed with an accessibility-first mindset.
Key features include:
- No installation or complex setup
- Immediate session launch
- Flexible identity verification (can be completed after assessment)
- Behaviour-based proctoring (no intrusive room scans)
By removing common barriers associated with traditional proctoring, Integrity Advocate ensures a more inclusive and equitable assessment experience.
Inclusive by Commitment
We believe accessibility is not just about compliance—it’s about inclusion.
We are committed to continuously improving our platforms to ensure that every learner can fully participate, engage, and succeed.
SOC 2 Type II Compliance
uxpertise is SOC 2 Type II certified as of January 9, 2025, following an independent audit conducted by Prescient Assurance LLC in accordance with the AICPA Trust Services Criteria for Security.
What SOC 2 Means
SOC 2 is a rigorous auditing standard designed for service organizations that handle customer data. It evaluates how well a company safeguards information and ensures systems are secure, reliable, and trustworthy over time.
A Type II certification goes beyond a point-in-time review. It assesses the operational effectiveness of controls over an extended period, demonstrating that our security practices are consistently applied.
Our Commitment to Security
Our SOC 2 compliance reflects a comprehensive approach to protecting data across our platforms.
- Access Controls
Strict role-based access ensures that only authorized individuals can access sensitive systems and data. - Data Protection
Encryption and secure data handling practices protect information both in transit and at rest. - Monitoring & Incident Response
Continuous system monitoring and defined response protocols allow us to quickly detect and address potential threats. - Risk Management
Ongoing risk assessments and mitigation strategies ensure we proactively address vulnerabilities. - Operational Integrity
Documented processes and internal controls ensure consistency, accountability, and auditability across our systems.
A Trusted Ecosystem
Our commitment extends to our partners. Integrity Advocate, our integrated proctoring solution, is also SOC 2 compliant, ensuring that the entire assessment experience meets high security standards.
